Domiciliary Support Worker – Permanent Full‑Time

About the role

Almond Blossom, a well‑established domiciliary care provider, is seeking permanent Support Workers to join their Edinburgh and Midlothian teams. You will deliver high‑quality home‑care services to clients, working flexible 8, 10 or 12‑hour shifts across a range of visit lengths.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities in clients' homes.
• Follow individual care plans and record observations accurately.
• Travel to assigned postcodes, adapting to variable visit durations (30 min, 1 hour or longer).
• Maintain a professional, compassionate attitude while respecting client privacy.
• Collaborate with the care coordination team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Permanent, unrestricted Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Previous experience in the social care sector.
• Valid UK driving licence and vehicle for driver routes, or residence within specified Edinburgh postcodes for walking routes.
• Flexibility to work 36 hours per week, with the possibility of condensed schedules.
