Drainage Engineer – Nationwide Projects

About the role

RSM Drain Solutions is seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join its fast‑growing team. You will deliver core drainage services across the UK, working closely with the wider drainage division and senior management to expand service offerings and maintain high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform drainage system inspections, CCTV surveys and electronic design work for private and public sector clients.
• Carry out drain repair, remedial works and water‑jetting operations on a variety of sites.
• Operate vac‑tankers and manage confined‑space tasks where required.
• Collaborate with colleagues and directors to identify new business opportunities and improve service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records using the company’s electronic job management system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in drainage systems, containment solutions and site‑based work.
• Ability to work independently across the UK or as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel frequently and handle multiple client sites.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

• Confined‑space certification (advantageous)
