Drama Teacher – KS3 & KS4 (Full‑time)

About the role

The school is seeking a passionate Drama Teacher to join its vibrant Arts department. You will deliver engaging drama lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, fostering confidence, creativity and performance skills in a supportive secondary‑school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality drama lessons aligned with the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to the development and enrichment of the drama curriculum.
• Support and organise school productions, performances and extracurricular drama clubs.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies or a related subject.
• Experience teaching drama in a secondary‑school setting, preferably across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong knowledge of the UK drama curriculum and assessment standards.
• Enthusiastic, imaginative and able to inspire students of all abilities.
