Drama Teacher (Part-time, Temp-to-Perm)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Drama Teacher to join our East London school on a part‑time, temporary‑to‑permanent basis. The role offers the chance to inspire students through drama and develop their confidence and creativity in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging drama lessons tailored to diverse student groups.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with staff to integrate drama across the wider curriculum.
• Organise and direct school drama productions, workshops and related events.
• Maintain a positive, stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages a love of drama.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a drama tutor or in a similar educational role.
• Strong understanding of drama techniques and teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Relevant teaching qualification preferred.
