About the role
A well‑regarded secondary school in Camberley, Surrey is seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join its Performing Arts department from September 2026. The role is permanent and can be undertaken on a full‑time or part‑time basis, allowing flexibility while delivering high‑quality drama education to students aged 11‑16.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster creativity, confidence and collaboration through performance and theatrical activities.
- Prepare and support students for school productions and enrichment events.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular programmes.
Required profile
- Qualified Drama Teacher (QTS or equivalent).
- Passion for the performing arts and ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to the school’s inclusive ethos and personal development focus.

- Curriculum planning and delivery for drama.
- Stagecraft and performance techniques.
