Drama Tutor (Part‑time, 0.8 FTE)

About the role

Our client, a highly creative college in East London, is looking for a passionate Drama Tutor to join the Performing Arts department for the new academic year. This part‑time (0.8 FTE) position offers the chance to inspire students and help them develop confidence, creativity and performance skills.

Key responsibilities

• Teach drama and support learners across the Performing Arts pathway.
• Deliver engaging practical workshops and theory‑based sessions.
• Maintain a supportive, arts‑focused classroom environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching Drama or Performing Arts in secondary school, sixth form or further education.
• Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for the performing arts.
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners of varying abilities.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Relevant teaching qualification and/or industry experience is welcomed.
