Draughtsman – Roofing, Cladding & Façades

About the role
We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman with strong AutoCAD experience to join a specialist contractor delivering roofing, cladding and façade projects across the North East and Yorkshire. The role is office‑based in Durham with an early finish every Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings for roofing, cladding and façade installations.
- Prepare material schedules to support project delivery.
- Attend occasional site visits to verify design intent.
- Collaborate closely with design and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required profile
- Proven experience using AutoCAD within the construction industry.
- Background in roofing, cladding, façades, curtain walling or architecture.
- Desire to develop skills in Revit, Rhino or other 3D design software.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Full UK driving licence.
