Driver – Accessible Community Transport (Islington)

About the role
We are seeking a Driver to work in the Islington area on a temporary ongoing basis. The role involves a split‑shift pattern of 35 hours per week, typically between 7 am and 5 pm, and offers a pay rate of £18.83 per hour (PAYE).
Key responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable and professional transport services for children, young people and adults using Accessible Community Transport (ACT) services.
- Operate PCV vehicles on home‑to‑school routes.
- Operate PCV vehicles on Adult Social Care transport routes.
- Undertake Passenger Assistant duties where required.
Required profile
- Ability to work a split‑shift schedule between 7 am and 5 pm.
- Availability for an ongoing temporary contract (35 hours per week).
- Commitment to follow safe recruitment practices.
