Driver Category C2 – Tamworth

About the role

Speedy is looking for a reliable Driver Category C2 to join its Tamworth team. You will be responsible for delivering hire equipment to customers across the local area, working Monday‑Friday, 04:00‑13:30, 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver a range of hire tools, plant and specialist equipment to client sites.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, serviced and compliant with safety standards.
• Represent Speedy’s brand by providing courteous, professional service to customers.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence (Category C2) with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Good knowledge of the Tamworth area and surrounding locations.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and walk for long periods.
