Driver – Customer Vehicle Collection & Delivery

About the role

We are looking for a Driver to join our Activate Accident Repair team in Birmingham. You will be responsible for the timely collection and delivery of customer and courtesy vehicles, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver customer vehicles as scheduled, completing all required paperwork and handling excess payments.
• Drive safely and lawfully, taking into account weather and traffic conditions, and report any vehicle faults.
• Ensure all documentation is correct when transferring vehicles and report accidents or incidents promptly.
• Collect payments and receipts, following financial procedures, and return paperwork to the office.
• Inspect courtesy cars for damage and cleanliness, confirming any issues with reception.
• Notify customers and reception of any delays and complete paperwork in the presence of the customer.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper use of chemicals and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards.

Required profile

• Full driving licence with the appropriate classification.
• Experience in logistics and vehicle appraisal.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Effective time management for each booking.
