Driver – Hazardous Waste Collection (Bristol)

About the role

Rentokil Initial is looking for a dedicated Driver to collect and dispose of hazardous waste for customers across Bristol and surrounding areas. You will manage your own schedule while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to multiple customer sites to collect and safely dispose of hazardous waste such as sharp bins, poisons, dental waste and other regulated items.
• Load and unload waste containers and bins manually.
• Maintain vehicle safety and adhere to the company’s RI Drive Smart guidance.
• Provide professional, courteous service and uphold the company’s image at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Comfortable with manual handling of waste units and bins.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Flexible working patterns to meet business needs.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Potential DBS check depending on the role.

Required skills

• Full UK driving licence (2+ years, ≤6 points)
• ADR certificate (preferred but not essential)
