Driver – Transport Clients (Full/Part Time)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Driver to transport clients, including elderly and disabled adults, between authorised locations. The role offers both full‑time and part‑time options and involves direct interaction with vulnerable passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a daily route plan, adjusting routes only with prior approval to ensure efficiency.
• Assist clients on and off the vehicle, using steps or tail lifts and securing wheelchairs safely.
• Carry out pre‑ and post‑journey vehicle checks, reporting defects immediately.
• Complete required paperwork such as fuel issue sheets and defect reports.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed and maintain its cleanliness inside and out.
• Adhere to scheduled timings as far as reasonably practicable.
• Wear company ID badge and appropriate attire at all times.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and any additional company directives.

Required profile

• Holding a Driving Licence with D1 entitlement and a valid CPC card.
• Minimum of two years’ driving experience.
• Age between 21 and 68 years.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Awareness of the needs of people with disabilities and the elderly.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training.
