Driver/Operative – Commercial Waste Collection

About the role

Join Veolia as a Driver/Operative responsible for collecting commercial waste across Wembley. You will operate a large fleet vehicle, service local businesses, and help keep the community clean while contributing to environmental sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Drive to scheduled collection sites and empty multiple commercial waste containers.
• Enter collection data into the onboard system and submit daily paperwork.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle checks in line with the driver operator handbook.
• Comply with all traffic regulations and load‑weight legislation.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Current CPC Digi/Tachograph card.
• Willingness to work day shifts (04:00‑14:00) Monday‑Friday and one Saturday in three.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.

Required skills

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• CPC Digi/Tachograph Card.
