Driver/Operative – Waste Collection

About the role
Join Veolia’s growing fleet in Wembley and help keep local communities clean by collecting and transporting commercial waste. This full‑time, day‑shift position offers a stable routine and the chance to make a tangible environmental impact.
Key responsibilities
- Drive to scheduled collection sites and empty multiple commercial waste containers.
- Enter all collection data into the onboard system and submit daily paperwork.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle checks in line with the driver operator handbook.
- Comply with all traffic regulations and load‑weight legislation.
Required profile
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Current CPC card and digital tachograph (Digi) certification.
- Willingness to work the 04:00‑14:00 day shift, Monday‑Friday and one Saturday in three.

What we offer
- Base salary of £43,112 per year with OTE up to £54,411.
- £5 daily meal allowance and a single‑person allowance of £39.96 per day after 110 bins.
