Driver’s Mate – Logistics Support in Swindon

About the role

Responsive Personnel is seeking reliable Driver’s Mates to support a busy logistics operation in Swindon. You will work alongside drivers to ensure multi‑drop deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and with excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist drivers with delivery and installation of goods.
• Load and unload vehicles safely, handling heavy items.
• Deliver items to customers in a professional manner.
• Handle items carefully to avoid damage.
• Support route navigation and complete delivery paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and organised vehicle interior.
• Provide a positive customer experience on each visit.

Required profile

• Well‑presented with a professional attitude.
• Adaptable to changing schedules and routes.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual and physically fit for manual handling.
• Positive, can‑do approach.
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
