Driving Instructor – Earn up to £50,000+

About the role

My Four Wheels is expanding its nationwide driving school network and is looking for enthusiastic individuals to become Driving Instructors. No prior teaching experience is required – you will be trained from the ground up and supported through the DVSA qualification process.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical driving lessons to learners of all ages and abilities.
• Prepare and follow lesson plans in line with DVSA standards.
• Provide constructive feedback and monitor learner progress.
• Maintain accurate records of lessons, assessments and vehicle usage.
• Adhere to health, safety and road‑traffic regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Hold a full UK driving licence for at least three years.
• Have no more than five penalty points and no bans in the last five years.
• Be reliable, patient and confident when communicating with learners.
• Willingness to complete DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3 training.

Required skills

• Knowledge of DVSA Part 1, 2 and 3 requirements.
• Ability to operate a dual‑control vehicle safely.
• Understanding of driving theory and road‑safety principles.

What we offer

• Typical lesson rates around £38 per hour, with potential earnings of £39k‑£50k+ per year.
