About the role
We are seeking an experienced Dryliner / 1st Fix Carpenter to join a live school site in Mitcham. The role starts immediately and is short‑term, with the possibility of further work on tape and jointing after the initial package.
Key responsibilities
- Construct internal stud wall partitions using metal or timber frames and boarding.
- Alter existing openings, frame doors and windows, and carry out basic make‑good work.
- Prepare the site for the subsequent tape and jointing team.
Required profile
- Active Enhanced DBS check (Update Service or fully cleared) for a live school environment.
- CSCS Card – blue skilled card preferred.
- Own full set of tools and standard PPE.
- Proven experience in partition alterations, not just new‑build boarding.

What we offer
- Pay rate £22‑£25 per hour (CIS), equivalent to £200‑£230 per day, DOE.
- Immediate start on a short‑term contract.
