DV Cleared Data Architect – Cloud (AWS/Azure) – Government & Defence

About the role

We are seeking a DV‑cleared Data Architect to design and deliver cloud‑based data solutions for government and defence clients. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into robust data architectures on AWS or Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise‑scale data architectures, including data lakes and analytics platforms, on AWS and/or Azure.
• Engage with senior business leaders to understand requirements, challenge assumptions, and shape data strategy.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure technical solutions align with commercial and security objectives.
• Provide consultancy and advisory services, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.

Required profile

• Active DV security clearance.
• Proven experience designing large‑scale data solutions in the public sector.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence senior decision‑makers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
