E-7 Mission Crew Instructor

About the role

Boeing Defence UK is expanding its Fixed Wing training capability and seeks an experienced E-7 Mission Crew Instructor to join the training team at RAF Lossiemouth. You will deliver both theoretical and practical instruction to UK MoD warfighters, ensuring training remains current, safe, and of the highest quality.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver E-7 synthetic and classroom training events in line with company standards, customer requirements and CAA/MAA regulations.
• Support the ongoing development and maintenance of courseware and Mission Crew training systems.
• Apply instructor‑led and computer‑based training techniques to enhance learning outcomes.
• Evaluate student competence against regulatory and customer criteria and report results.
• Uphold safety standards and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all training products.
• Coach and develop junior instructors and provide SME input to stakeholders.
• Assist the Course Design Team with courseware design following the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering aviation or defence training in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with CAA/MAA regulatory guidelines and safety procedures.
• Ability to assess and certify trainee competence.
• Strong communication skills for classroom and synthetic environments.
• Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement of training materials.
