Early Career Primary Teacher – Full‑time or Contractor

About the role
Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with welcoming primary schools in Brent to place Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for September 2026. You will join a supportive school environment that offers structured induction, dedicated mentorship and protected planning time.
Key responsibilities
- Take responsibility for a class and deliver the National Curriculum or EYFS framework.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons with protected planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time.
- Collaborate with the year‑group team and mentor to develop teaching practice.
- Participate in regular observations, coaching and progress reviews aligned to the Early Career Framework.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – awarded or pending for September 2026.
- ECT status – in the first or second year of statutory induction.
- Enthusiasm for teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 and willingness to be matched to a suitable phase.
- Good subject knowledge of the primary curriculum and awareness of safeguarding duties.
