Early Career Primary Teacher – Supply (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECT) to join a range of primary schools in the Failsworth and Oldham area on a full‑time supply basis starting September 2026. This temporary position offers the chance to teach across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 while gaining valuable experience in diverse school environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on short‑term and long‑term assignments.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit different year groups and school cultures.
• Manage classroom behaviour and support pupil progress.
• Collaborate with school leadership and fellow staff to maintain a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – or pending confirmation for Summer 2026.
• Passion for primary education and a willingness to learn.
• Flexible, proactive and nurturing teaching style.
• Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
