Early Career Primary Teacher – Supply & Placement

About the role
Randstad Education is partnering with a range of primary schools across Liverpool to place Early Career Teachers (ECTs) in both daily supply and longer‑term assignments. This role offers the chance to gain classroom experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 while completing your induction period.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the national curriculum to pupils in reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
- Adapt lesson plans to suit the needs of different schools and student groups.
- Collaborate with senior staff and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Early Career Teacher with QTS (or pending qualification).
- Strong communication and behaviour‑management abilities.
- Positive, adaptable and proactive attitude towards teaching.
- Willingness to work across multiple schools in the Liverpool area.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
Required skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for teaching in England.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
