About the role

The Lancashire Teaching Agency is seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join a pool of qualified teachers in the Blackburn area. Key responsibilities

• Deliver teaching in assigned Lancashire schools as an Early Career Teacher.
• Provide cover for permanent, fixed‑term or long‑term supply roles.
• Participate in a structured Continuous Professional Development programme linked to individual needs.
• Collaborate with a personal consultant to plan career progression and job‑search strategies.

Required profile

• Trainee teacher approaching the end of training.
• Willing to work in the Blackburn area.
• Able to undergo a DBS check.
• Committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
