About the role

The Lancashire Teaching Agency, in partnership with Lancashire County Council, is offering Early Career Teachers (ECTs) a pool of teaching opportunities in the Clitheroe area. This role is designed for trainee teachers approaching the end of their training who are seeking short‑term or supply teaching placements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide teaching cover in Lancashire schools on a permanent, fixed‑term or long‑term supply basis.
• Collaborate with a personal consultant to match your preferences and availability.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and successfully complete a DBS check.
• Engage in continuous professional development tailored to individual needs.

Required profile

• Currently completing teacher training and nearing qualification.
• Willing to register with the Lancashire Teaching Agency.
• Committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
