About the role

The Lancashire Teaching Agency is offering Early Career Teachers (ECTs) a pool of teaching opportunities across schools in the Chorley area. This role is designed for trainee teachers who are nearing the end of their training and are seeking temporary or supply teaching positions while they secure a permanent post.

Key responsibilities

• Provide short‑term, fixed‑term or long‑term teaching cover in Lancashire schools.
• Support schools with recruitment for permanent, fixed‑term and supply cover roles.
• Engage in a structured programme of Continuous Professional Development tailored to individual needs.

Required profile

• Currently completing teacher training and approaching the end of the programme.
• Willingness to work in a variety of school settings on a full‑time basis.
• Successful completion of a DBS check.
