About the role
We are partnering with a range of primary schools in Wakefield and surrounding areas to place Early Career Teachers (ECT) for the September 2026 intake. The role offers the opportunity to teach across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in schools that are rated good or outstanding by OFSTED.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for early years and primary pupils.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with senior staff to support school-wide initiatives.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions.
Required profile
- Currently completing primary school teacher training.
- Available to start in September 2026.
- Enthusiastic, reliable and committed to student success.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the national curriculum for EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Classroom management techniques.
- Effective communication with pupils, parents and staff.
