About the role
We are seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a secondary school in West London. The role offers a supportive induction programme, mentoring and opportunities to develop your classroom practice across KS3‑KS5. Ideal candidates are qualified (or completing QTS) and eager to progress in their subject specialism.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support student progress across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with KS5 opportunities).
- Collaborate with experienced teachers and mentors.
- Contribute to a positive, well‑managed learning environment.
- Fully engage with the ECT induction programme.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending completion.
- Specialism in a secondary subject area (e.g., English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL).
- Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
- Commitment to professional development.
- Positive, proactive and reliable attitude.
