About the role
The Lancashire Teaching Agency, in partnership with Lancashire County Council, is offering Early Career Teachers (ECTs) a pool of teaching opportunities across schools in the Preston area. This programme supports teachers who are completing their training and seeking immediate classroom experience while they look for permanent positions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide teaching coverage in Lancashire schools on a supply or fixed‑term basis.
- Participate in a structured Continuous Professional Development programme tailored to individual needs.
- Work closely with a personal consultant to align assignments with career goals.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and complete a DBS check before placement.
Required profile
- Currently a trainee teacher nearing the end of your training.
- Committed to the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
- Willing to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
