Early Career Teacher – Primary Supply Positions

About the role
Academics is seeking Primary Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for short‑term, medium‑term and long‑term supply placements across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in Cheshire and surrounding areas. This role offers the flexibility to choose when and where you work while building a strong teaching portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the national curriculum to pupils in early years and primary classes.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of each class.
- Collaborate with school staff and provide feedback on pupil progress.
Required profile
- Qualified as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) in the UK.
- Recent completion of teacher training with a willingness to take on varied placements.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.
Required skills
- Effective classroom management.
- Ability to differentiate instruction for mixed‑ability groups.
