About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers to join secondary schools in East London. The positions start in September and offer a supportive environment for new teachers to develop their classroom practice and subject expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 where applicable).
- Support student progress and assess learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with experienced teachers and mentors as part of the ECT induction programme.
- Contribute to a positive, well‑managed learning environment.
- Participate fully in school‑wide professional development activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending completion.
- Specialism in a secondary subject such as English, Maths, Science, Humanities or MFL.
- Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a proactive, reliable attitude.
