Early Career Teacher – Stockport placements

About the role

We are seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join schools across Stockport on a full‑time, temporary basis. You will be given your own class and supported through the statutory ECT induction programme, while working in a supportive school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Complete the ECT induction programme requirements.
• Collaborate with senior staff and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
• Participate in regular visits and feedback sessions with the recruitment consultant.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher eligible for the Early Career Teacher status.
• Motivated to begin a teaching career in Stockport schools.
• Willing to work full‑time on a temporary contract.
• Open to receiving guidance and support from an education consultant.
