Early Careers Teacher

About the role

Teaching Personnel is partnering with an inclusive primary school in Blackpool to welcome an Early Career Teacher (ECT) for the 2026‑2027 academic year. This role offers a supportive environment with dedicated mentoring and a structured induction programme, providing a solid foundation for a new teacher’s professional journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching to a primary class (KS1 or KS2) in line with the national curriculum.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons, ensuring clear learning objectives and outcomes.
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Contribute to wider school activities and initiatives.

Required profile

• Hold, or be on track to achieve, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Enthusiastic, reflective and committed to raising standards for all learners.
• Demonstrated classroom practice and effective behaviour management.
• Eager to develop professionally within a supportive setting.
