Early Twilight Care Assistant

About the role
Join our close‑knit team at Etive House Care Home in the scenic village of Benderloch, near Oban. As an Early Twilight Care Assistant you will provide compassionate, person‑centred support during the early morning shift, helping residents start their day safely and comfortably.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and toileting.
- Support mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing throughout the shift.
- Follow individual care plans and promptly report any changes in condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure all equipment is used correctly.
- Collaborate with the wider care team to deliver consistent, high‑quality care.
Required profile
- A caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, positivity and a willingness to learn.
- SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable or a commitment to work towards it.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £14.10.
- Flexible part‑time, temporary shifts (6 am – 9 am).
- Paid PVG pension scheme and uniform provision.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro‑rated for part‑time).
