Early Years Educator – Full Academic Year (Islington)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Educator to join a friendly primary school in Islington for the full academic year. You will work across the baby and toddler rooms, supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development in a safe, stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support children in the Early Years setting, assisting the class teacher and wider team.
• Lead small‑group activities and learning through play.
• Promote communication, confidence and independence in line with the EYFS framework.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and well‑resourced classroom environment.
• Provide flexible cover across baby and toddler rooms as needed.

Required profile

• Experience working in an Early Years or nursery setting.
• CACHE Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Nurturing, patient and enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
• Confidence supporting learning through play.
