Early Years Educator – Full‑time, Islington, £119‑£130/day

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Early Years Educator to join a welcoming primary school in Islington. The role starts in September 2026 and offers a full‑time schedule, Monday to Friday, supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver play‑based and structured learning activities across the EYFS curriculum.
• Support phonics, early literacy and numeracy development.
• Facilitate smooth transitions into Reception.
• Provide targeted assistance for pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and speech & language needs.
• Observe, track and record children’s progress and promote positive behaviour.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Required profile

• Cache Level 3 qualification (or equivalent/higher) in Early Years.
• Previous experience in a nursery or primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Confidence working with children who have SEND.
• Proactive, nurturing attitude and ability to take initiative in a busy classroom.
