Early Years Educator

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team in Kennington, Southwark. You will work Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑4 pm, providing a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 2‑4 years.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in daily activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor play and group games.
• Promote social and emotional development through positive interactions and guided learning.
• Ensure all activities are inclusive and comply with the school’s ethos and safeguarding policies.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and staff, offering regular updates on each child’s progress.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or an equivalent credential.
• Previous experience working with 2‑4‑year‑olds in a school or early‑years setting.
• Passion for children’s development, a friendly attitude and reliability.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

• Understanding of early years curriculum and safeguarding standards.
