About the role
We are looking for a qualified Early Years Educator to join our vibrant Cherubs Kimberley nursery. You will work 40 hours per week delivering high‑quality care and education to children aged 0‑5, while supporting families and contributing to our community‑focused ethos.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children, adhering to safeguarding policies.
- Act as a positive role model, demonstrating best practice to children and colleagues.
- Welcome parents and carers each day, offering concise handovers and building strong relationships.
- Maintain accurate records for each child using the Nursery In A Box system, aligned with EYFS standards.
- Collaborate with the childcare team to plan and deliver engaging activities that reflect Montessori, Hygge, Reggio, and Forest School approaches.
Required profile
- Qualified Early Years Educator (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Teacher, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Passionate about early childhood development and community engagement.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene.
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and team members.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Ability to use nursery management software for record‑keeping.
