Early Years Educator / Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

About the role

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Educator/Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team in Tewkesbury. You will work in a supportive environment, delivering high‑quality care and education to children aged 0‑5 years.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through play and exploration.
• Act as a key person for a designated group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families.
• Observe, record and report on children’s progress and achievements.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, attend training sessions and contribute ideas to improve the nursery setting.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, NVQ, Diploma or equivalent).
• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
