Early Years Nursery Practitioner – Flexible Supply Roles

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners and Nursery Assistants to join our supply team, providing flexible cover for a well‑established chain of nurseries across Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud and Tewkesbury. This role offers varied experience in different settings while supporting children’s learning and development on a day‑to‑day basis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day and short‑term cover across multiple nurseries.
• Support children’s learning and development in line with the early years curriculum.
• Assist qualified practitioners with planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for working with children.
• Reliable, flexible and professional attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Nursery experience desirable but not essential for unqualified candidates.

Required skills

• Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain training).
