Early Years Practitioner (CACHE Level 3) – Islington Children's Centre

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join the Children’s Centre within a welcoming primary school in Islington. The role starts immediately and offers the chance to work across both baby and toddler rooms, supporting children under three years of age.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing environment for infants and toddlers.
• Support children’s development through play, routine activities, and positive interactions.
• Collaborate with the Early Years team to promote communication, confidence, and independence.
• Assist in both baby and toddler rooms, adapting to the needs of each setting throughout the day.

Required profile

• Hold a CACHE Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years.
• Previous experience in an Early Years or nursery setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Reliable, nurturing, and adaptable with a team‑oriented mindset.
