Early Years Practitioner (Level 2/3) – Full‑time Temp‑to‑Perm

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join well‑established nursery settings in Leeds (LS2, LS6, LS7). This full‑time, temporary‑to‑permanent position offers the chance to support children’s early learning in a caring, play‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities that promote children’s learning and development.
• Create a safe, stimulating environment where children feel confident and independent.
• Observe and document children’s progress, supporting their individual learning journeys.
• Collaborate with a friendly nursery team and maintain strong relationships with parents.
• Follow the EYFS framework, safeguarding policies, and nursery procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (essential).
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Reliable, caring, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and a genuine passion for early childhood development.
