Early Years Practitioner – Nursery (Full‑time, Temporary)

About the role

We are partnering with a respected private nursery in Plymouth to find a dedicated Early Years Practitioner. You will work full‑time (40 hours per week) in a supportive environment, delivering high‑quality childcare aligned with the EYFS framework.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Provide a high standard of care, ensuring children’s safety, wellbeing, and individual needs are met.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive, inclusive nursery environment.
• Build strong professional relationships with children, parents, and the wider team.

Required profile

• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
• At least one year’s experience in a UK childcare setting.
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• A warm, enthusiastic, and committed approach to childcare.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
