Early Years Practitioner – Nursery (Leeds)

About the role

Reed Education is looking for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join a range of nurseries across Leeds. You will support the care and education of young children in a nurturing environment, working alongside teachers and other staff to deliver high‑quality early learning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and education to children aged 0‑5 years.
• Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for children, families and colleagues.
• Engage children in play, learning activities and outdoor exploration.
• Assist with personal care tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or in a childcare setting.
• Early Years Practitioner qualification – Level 3 (Level 2 also accepted).
• Passionate, fun‑minded and reliable.
• Availability to work five days a week (part‑time may be considered).

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities.
• Comfort with personal care duties.
