Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse – Baby Room (Hackney)

About the role

Join a warm, welcoming Baby Room in Hackney where every child is known and supported as an individual. As an Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Nurse you will help create a caring, stimulating environment for babies, ensuring they feel safe, secure and inspired to explore.

Key responsibilities

• Support babies' learning, development and emotional wellbeing through high‑quality interactions.
• Plan engaging, play‑based activities that promote curiosity and early development.
• Observe children’s progress and contribute to individual learning journeys.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Support communication, physical, personal, social and emotional development.
• Work closely with colleagues to maintain an outstanding learning environment.

Required profile

• Relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above preferred).
• Previous experience working with babies or within an Early Years setting.
• Caring and patient attitude towards young children.
