Early Years Practitioner – Outdoor Nursery (Full/Part Time)

About the role
We are looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our unique, outdoor‑focused nursery in Cheltenham. The role involves delivering the EYFS curriculum through nature‑based activities, supporting children aged 0‑5 to explore, learn and develop confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, EYFS‑aligned activities that encourage curiosity, creativity and independence.
- Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and their families and recording each child’s progress.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety while promoting appropriate risk‑taking outdoors.
- Provide daily care including meals, personal hygiene and routine support.
- Collaborate with the team, liaise with parents and external professionals as needed.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (NVQ, CACHE or equivalent).
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework (training provided for newly qualified staff).
- Passion for outdoor learning and child development.
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
