Early Years Practitioner – Part‑time (25 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join the busy Bee Pre‑School team in Honiton. The role is part‑time (25 hours per week) on a permanent basis, supporting children’s development in a well‑established early years setting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality play and learning activities for children.
• Carry out key‑person duties, monitoring each child’s progress.
• Provide daily and written feedback to parents, maintaining clear communication.
• Support individual children to achieve their full potential in line with the EYFS framework.

Required profile

• Full Early Years and Childcare qualification, minimum Level 2.
• Adaptable and flexible, able to work in a busy pre‑school environment.
• Previous experience in a similar setting is advantageous.
• Hard‑working, motivated and enjoys outdoor activities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Required skills

• Sound working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Ability to plan and implement engaging learning experiences.
• Effective communication with parents and colleagues.
