Early Years Practitioner – Part‑time (Level 2/3)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery in Stroud on a part‑time basis. The role involves supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing in a safe and inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care, learning activities and developmental support to children.
• Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents through effective communication.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive setting that promotes growth.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability and flexibility in daily duties.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, adaptable and professional approach.
