Early Years Practitioner – Primary School (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a caring Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest, London. The role is full‑time, term‑time only, and starts in September or October. You will work alongside experienced teachers to deliver high‑quality, play‑based learning for young children.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities that support children’s learning and development.
• Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating Early Years environment.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement high‑quality curriculum experiences.
• Observe, monitor and record children’s progress and wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, or a relevant degree.
• Previous experience in an Early Years setting.
• Warm, patient and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication skills with children, parents and colleagues.
• Organised, dependable and a team player.

• Permanent, full‑time position with a salary of £26,000‑£34,000 per annum.
