Early Years Practitioner – Primary School (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for qualified Early Years Practitioners who want to transition into a primary school setting. The role involves supporting young learners in Nursery and Reception, delivering the EYFS framework and fostering development through play.

Key responsibilities

• Support children across Nursery and Reception classes.
• Facilitate learning through play and exploration.
• Develop communication, language and early phonics skills.
• Promote early maths and number understanding.
• Encourage personal, social and emotional development.
• Assist with observations, assessments and tracking progress.
• Maintain classroom routines, transitions and a safe, nurturing environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other EYFS practitioners.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent experience.
• Recent experience working with young children.
• Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
• Nurturing, patient and creative approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children.
