Early Years Practitioner – Temporary (Leeds)

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join temporary placements in nurseries across Leeds. You will support children’s learning through play‑based activities while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily routines and transitions within the nursery setting.
- Deliver care and learning using child‑centred, play‑based approaches.
- Encourage each child’s development through meaningful play experiences.
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment.
- Work in line with the EYFS framework, safeguarding policies and health & safety standards.
Required profile
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Professional, reliable and caring attitude.
- Current DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.

- Weekly pay at competitive hourly rates (£14.50‑£16.50).
